In an unexpeted move, I decided to purchase a new camera today because my original Sony is beginning to die. I purchased the Canon PowerShot SX210 IS because of its stereo sound, wide-angle lens, and amazing adjustability. IN THIS SERIES OF MATCHES, PLEASE BARE WITH ME! I am adjusting the camera constantly between matches and therefore the video quality will rise and dip, get brighter and darker, etc. By the final match, I believe I’ve found the optimal settings. Please comment and let me know what you think!

The video quality is great and for commentary but it muffles out game audio so if the game doesn’t have subtitles the viewers are kinda screwed

Just from video, it seems the Cannon is vastly superior to the Sony camera.
The sound sounds kinda muffled to me but people are saying it has to do with the stereo speakers making sounds sound different?

This camera is actually better his voice sounds different but shaper and in 720p the video is slightly better but both cameras are about the same plus i dont think people mind if the audio is a bit different or the quality is droped by like 2% becuase its your commentary thats the best

This is actually something that’s vexed me for quite a while. Since you obviously need the camera in front of your tv to film, but you also need to be in front of your tv to play, how do you set up your area?

I have watched all of your calibration series on that channel and on dspgaming and I came to conclusion that the video quality itself has increased but the audio is weird. It’s like when you talk it’s automatically mutes in-game sound. Weird!

everybody saying the audio is shit….well the audio coming from the tv is indeed a bit shitty, but phils voice is much more clear now. he sounds like someone from the raido
