@iphoneAndy exactly what @kwonooo said, this particular method is for 3G only. You can get Android on 3GS, but their is a different method.

if you have 2,1_3.1.2 this is firmware for 3GS,iphodroid is only for 3G and firmware is 1,2_3.1.2

but it says on google that you can do it with 3gs but it has to be 3.1.2 or lower , but i cant restore it please help

i cant restore to 3.1.2 it says This device isn’t eligible for the requested build. but it is the right firmware “iPhone2,1_3.1.2_7D11_Restore.ipsw” its the right one and im on itunes 8.1.5 i tried it on 9.1 to but i didnt work , please help

@iphoneAndy Yes, restoring will delete it all off and set you will be back to normal.

@iphoneAndy The spirit jailbreak does not support the Android OS. You need to use blackrain, redsnow or Pwnagetool.

@iphoneAndy No, this wont damage it. It is easily removable through a restore in iTunes.

android does work on iphone 3.1.3 i have android os on my iphone 3.1.3 and its jailbroken with pwnage tools and rejealbroken with spirit but not unlocked beacuse ihave the new boot rom but it does work

@skakky Try a different version of iphodroid, terminal seems to be waiting too long for a response when that message shows.

ok i get to the loading android bit after putting my iphone 3g into scrolling mode but then terminal crashes and i get the apple event timed out error please help. black ra1n and snow leopard iphone os 3.1.2
